Salvation: It is all about Grace…
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works so that no one can boast.
Triple AAA Steps of Salvation
Acknowledge Life is all about God, the Creator, and Sustainer of the universe, and that death, disease, and broken relationships exist because of sin that entered the world through the fall of Adam and Eve. Genesis 1-3
Accept God in His love for His creation, sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ, to be Grace to us and pay the penalty for our sin. Through Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection, we have been offered the free gift of Salvation that we accept through faith as we acknowledge this Grace.
To know true salvation we must:
Allow God, by the Holy Spirit, which He gives to everyone who accepts the Good News of Jesus Christ, to work and transform us as an individual from the old bent-towards-sin self to the new bent-towards God self. If we allow the Holy Spirit to bring about the fruit of the spirit in our lives Galatians 5:22-23
and we put into practice the Gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification of the body 1 Corinthians 12 this is our assurance of Salvation. For if we are in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit experiencing salvation over sin and death on earth, we surely will spend eternity-future with God.
The AAA steps of Salvation can be summed up in the historical account of Luke 10:25-28. On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.”Teacher” he asked, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?”
“What is written in the Law?” He replied. “How do you read it?”
He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.’ And,’ Love your neighbor as yourself.”
“You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”
What must we do to inherit real life, eternal life? God through Grace offers Salvation to anyone and everyone.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
